I can't put into words how strong I can recommend Coburns Party Wall... in a nutshell Coburns Party Wall saved me thousands of pounds, stress, was quick and very professional and after a little while I new I was in good hands. There are not many professional like Karmjit. I can tell you that I had a very hard time with neighbours whom did not want me to build an extension trying to make it difficult and delays through party wall agreements and one neighbour surveyor was so bad and very expensive. But Coburns Party Wall was so good and quick dealing with the issues and advising me what to do that it made the whole thing so much easier. Karmjit is one of few professional I came to know in a very long time, I may even think he was the best I have ever met. If you need a surveyor you will not regret working with Karmjit.

I have a had a lot of experience with dealing with Surveyors over many years both for General/Complex Building projects and Party Wall matters.

What we were looking for was a Surveyor who is:

* Highly knowledgeable;
* Competent in dealing with various chartered and non chartered bodies;
* Responsive and cost effective;
* and above all, an effective communicator .

On contacting Coburn Party Wall Surveyors and speaking with Kamjit (sic) it became clear within a few minutes, he is a very experienced and a more than competent professional meeting my above criteria.

Kamjit
(sic)​ was able to deal direct with the other parties Surveyor and to speed up the process to allow our neighbours to get their project started without delay. He expedited a speedy negotiation with GVA and completion of the Award.

For me he offered complete confidence and more importantly 'speed of service' to avoid unnecessary cost to the other party by cutting through 'red tape'.

He has excellent communication skills and is 'clear and transparent' in all his communications between all parties to avoid 'mixed messages' to maintain good relations all round. Having dealt with many Surveyors through the years, this has not always been the case. In this area Kamjit is worth his weight in gold, extremely good value and a cost effective professional who I will continue to use going forward.

I sent Coburns an email inquiring about my rights regarding a dispute between myself any my neighbours party wall and received a reply instantly. Before contacting Coburns, I had contacted several companies which were so unhelpful. They either were overcharging or weren't bothered....I was losing the hope to live; the council were also very unhelpful. I then came across Coburns and explained about my situation and the gentlemen was very transparent. He explained both of our rights, typed a brief letter on my behalf and even went to the degree to resolve the dispute with my neighbour. Due to this great company I managed to resolve the issues without having to book a Party Wall Surveyor, they saved me from spending £££'s. I would like to sincerely thank them for everything they have done, I wouldn't have managed to move forward if it wasn't down to these guys!!

Promptness of response :  I would highly recommend this company only!! I was experiencing some extreme problems in which Karmjit helped me to resolve.
